China – A  couple in China  has been accused of selling their infant daughter in order to purchase an Apple  iPhone . As reported by AFP, Shanghai prosecutors brought a human trafficking case against the couple after finding they placed the child up for adoption online illegally and accepted money for her. Investigators say the mother, whose full identity has been withheld, purchased an iPhone, shoes, and other items with the money received. Gold iPhone Sells Out, Crushing Dreams Of Apple Fans Around The World

The gold rush was on Friday morning at Apple stores in the U.S. and Europe . Hungry iPhone buyers, some who had waited in line for days, attempted to get their hands on the gold-colored iPhone 5S, the latest version of Apple's flagship phone. Some of Apple's most devoted fans left the stores disappointed, as stores quickly ran out of the highly-coveted silver and gold versions of its phone. Apple's "space gray" model seemed to be more abundantly stocked. Joseph Cruz, 20, came out of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan with a sleeping bag in one hand, a chair over his shoulder and two new iPhones. He waited for 15 days and was second in line -- but still didn't manage to nab a gold phone. "I'm pretty bummed out, but you know, I still had a fun experience being here," he said, adding he felt bad that he couldn't get his mom a gold iPhone. "I can still always order it online." Not so fast. AT&T's onlin

5 Things To Expect From Apple's Big Sept. 10 Event

On Tuesday, Apple will host its first event since its  Worldwide Developers Conference in June.  The company says the event should  "brighten everyone's day. But what exactly will Apple reveal today? Here's some of what the Cupertino tech giant may have up its sleeve. 1. iPhone 5S The rumor mill leading up to tomorrow's event has been  working overtime for the "iPhone 5S."  The expected new iPhone is said to be the same size as the iPhone 5, and might come in gold -- and be made of Liquidmetal, an "indestructible" alloy that's twice as strong as titanium. One possible major improvement is the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor embedded into the convex home button, a  "big headlining feature" for the 5S  according to Cult of Mac. How the Samsung Galaxy S4 tempted me from the iPhone

The Samsung S4 and the iPhone 5 I'm fortunate to have several smartphones to choose from. For work reasons, I need to keep up with the Android, iOS, and Windows Phone platforms, as well as specific devices from particular makers. Usually, I take two with me when going out. But on the rare occasions that I take only one, it's the iPhone that's must-have. Must-have, that is, until the Samsung Galaxy S4 came along. I didn't expect to like the Galaxy S4, when the review unit from Samsung arrived a few weeks ago. I never took to the Galaxy S3 when I tried it last year. Believe me, I tried. Plenty of others seemed to love it. But the predictive text always seemed to suggest the wrong things, plus I found the unit was pretty hard to see in bright sunlight. These and other factors never pulled me to the phone, or away from the  iPhone 4S  or the  Galaxy Nexus  that I was regularly using then. It's been much different with the Galaxy S4. I love it. Below are some
