Eagles are improving with every game – Omokaro

Former Super Eagles defender, Bright Omokaro has said that the Eagles made appreciable improve-ment in their match against Uruguay on Thursday in the on-going Confederations Cup compared to their first outing against Oceanian champions, Tahiti. “There was a commendable approach, which the boys took this time around; they improved a lot upon the previous game against Tahiti. “Football is a game of luck, and it dangles. It can swing in your favour and at other times, can favour the other side. I’m happy they are showing improvement,” Omokaro, nicknamed 10-10 during the 1990 Africa Nations Cup in Algeria, said Also contributing, Harrison Okagbue, a former coach of Uganda, said the Eagles were not left a slim chance to qualify and that Keshi should work on their mind set. “Right now, we are in a tight corner. For us to prevail, we have to defeat Spain. “It will sound strange though, but we can still come out victorious if only the boys can play their best and learn how to pass ba

Obi presents N100m to the army

Satisfied with the level of work carried out by army engineers in the reconstruction of internal roads within the Barracks at Onitsha, Governor Peter Obi Friday presented another cheque of N100 Million Naira to the Army, bringing it to N200 million given to them so far for the project. Presenting the cheque, the Governor said that it was in line with the policy of his Government to work with all the Federal agencies in the State on the reason that all of them ultimately serve the good of the State and her people. But I can assure you that with the level of civility we have restored, such a thing would not happen again, the Governor said. He also urged the army to continue to utilize the funds properly. He said that Government was

Video On Instagram: Facebook Adds 15-Second Videos To Photo-Sharing App

Video, meet Instagram. Facebook on Thursday announced that it had added video recording, editing, filtering and sharing capabilities to Instagram, the immensely popular photo sharing service Facebook bought last year for $1 billion. "We need to do to video what we did to photos," said Kevin Systrom, the co-founder and CEO of Instagram. "What we've done is made Instagram better." The app allows Instagram's 130 million monthly active users to record 15-second collages of video clips. Users can delete and re-record clips, and the app features Cinema, a video stabilization tool. Like photos that are shared on the app, videos on Instagram will have 13 custom filters. If any of this sounds familiar, it's because Facebook is taking a page right from Twitter's book. In January, Twitter released Vine , an app that records (and then plays on a loop) 6-second video clips. For Twitter, Vine has been nothing short of a huge succe
