In November 2012, Miss Mercy Okpithe reported to the Batch 'C' Orientation Camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State. Her joy knew no bounds, as she looked forward to the opportunity to serve Nigeria for one year. The 2011 graduate of Public Administration from the Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, voluntarily joined the Dance Troupe on the camp. Like Janet Jackson in her heyday, she displayed a high level of dexterity as she moved her feet and body rhythmically to music. After the camping exercise, she was posted to the Anambra South Local Government area, and she continued as a member of the Dance Troupe. A dump site has been discovered near Aba, Abia State, where over 20 human skulls and decomposing bodies, including those of school children were found. SunNews reports that the site, which was a horror to behold was located, at about kilometer 15 on the Aba/Azumini Highway at an area called "No man's land" after Akpaa village in Obingwa Local Government of the state. The discovery followed the arrest of four policemen attached to the Federal Highway Patrol unit of the Nigeria Police, Aba Section, who allegedly killed a 26-year-old man in Aba and dumped his body at the site. The policemen led by their officer-in-charge, Hyginus Omeze, who were ordered to be detained by the Area Commander for Aba, Rabiu Dayi were alleged to have murdered one Onyekachi Chukwu, 26. A young man was hit by a moving train this past weekend as he was walking into on the tracks along Agege motor road by Airport bus stop, Ikeja. According to reports, the man had his ears covered with ear phones as he walked on the train tracks which prevented him from hearing the train approaching. He was then knocked down by the moving train. Sympathizers approached the scene of the accident and proceeded to rescue the man. As at the time he was rushed to Ikeja General Hospital, the man was still alive but his head was battered. His current state of health cannot be ascertained at this time.

Yesterday, a tanker conveying kerosene had an accident at Oshodi , on the Oshodi-Apapa expressway. In no time, residents swooped on the tanker scooping it's content to the dismay of motorists and security agents.....
