Jim Iyke Signed Season 2 & 3 Of His Reality Show 'Unscripted' With Ifactory And OHTV

Jim Iyke's career is back on track as he is not only working on a new movie in Ghana, he has also signed a contract for the season 2 and 3 of his reality show, 'Unscripted' with 'The Idea Factory' (IFactory) and 'OHTV'. He will start working on the reality show in November. Lou Reed Dead: Legendary Rock Musician Dies At 71

Legendary musician Lou Reed has died, Rolling Stone reported  on Sunday. He was 71. The Guardian  confirmed the report, citing Reed's agent.  BBC also  confirmed the report. His exact cause of death was not immediately revealed, but  the AP said  it was a "liver-related ailment." Earlier this year, he received a life-saving  liver transplant  after experiencing chronic liver failure. Reed was open about his addiction to drugs and alcohol in his music. He'd been sober for decades, but his  past drug use  took a heavy toll on his body. In "Heroin," he wrote: “Heroin, be the death of me/Heroin, it’s my wife and it’s my life.” Reed is best known for his work as guitarist, singer and songwriter for the Velvet Underground, and his solo career. Reed had a profound impact on American culture, introducing avant garde rock and pop art to mainstream music. U.S. SENATOR APOLOGISES OVER REMARKS AGAINST NIGERIANS

UNITED STATES (U.S.) Senator Ted Cruz at the weekend apologised and called for a peace meeting with Nigerian-Americans who have demanded that he retracts his controversial joke last week, which many of them considered insulting.   According to a letter from the senator released at the weekend to leaders of the Nigerian community in Houston, Texas, where the controversial comments were made, Cruz “regrets any misunderstanding.”   The letter was signed by one of the aides of the Senator, Mr. David Sawyer, the South-East Texas Regional Director in his office.     Sawyer, in another statement, is also asking for a peace meeting today between Senator Cruz and representatives of the Nigerian community in Houston.   Cruz has been bombarded with several phone calls from Nigerians in Houston and all across the U.S. since last Monday, October 21, comments.   Besides, there has been a big splash of negative media focus on the American senator in the U.S., which peaked on Friday with th

Jonathan, pilgrims pray for peace, end to ASUU crisis

EMOTIONS filled Jerusalem International Conference Centre on Sunday as President Goodluck Jonathan led thousands of pilgrims in an interdenominational church service which recorded a number of miraculous healings to pray for peace and development in Nigeria. Tagged: A Day With Jesus For Nigeria in Israel, the service was used to ask God for forgiveness of sins committed in Nigeria. The Centre was jammed and the service which lasted for five hours was attended by cabinet ministers and some state governors which include those of Plateau (Jonah Jang), Ebonyi (Martin Elechi), Akwa Ibom (Godswill Akpabio), Cross River (Liyel Imoke), Benue (Gabriel Suswan) and Delta (Emmanuel Uduaghan).
