Repeatedly raped by her stepfather for over an year, a 15-year-old girl got pregnant. Her mother and a woman neighbour then took the girl to a private clinic and got her three-month old foetus aborted. The incident came to light late on Thursday following which the police arrested four persons including the girl's mother, step-father, neighbour and the doctor who performed the abortion. The incident took place in Shital Nagar area of Rohtak district in Haryana. According to the police, a woman Poorna was staying in a rented accommodation with second husband Asha Ram and her 15-year-old daughter from her first marriage. Asha Ram and Poorna used to work as labourers, while the girl used to look after two-room accommodation, which they shared with another family. As per the preliminary investigation Asha Ram had been allegedly raping the girl for the last over an year.
