BBM coming to Android and iOS as early as this week, no more excuse

An earlier report on Twitter from Samsung Nigeria confirmed that BlackBerry’s popular BBM messaging platform will be coming to Android and iOS quite soon. We’ll be bringing the app to Android and iPhone users across the globe soon.” BBM has long been a staple of BlackBerry’s messaging platform, allowing BlackBerry users to communicate between one another for free, but has until now been limited to BlackBerry devices. Here's some of what the Cupertino tech giant may have up its sleeve. 1. iPhone 5S The rumor mill leading up to tomorrow's event has been  working overtime for the "iPhone 5S."  The expected new iPhone is said to be the same size as the iPhone 5, and might come in gold -- and be made of Liquidmetal, an "indestructible" alloy that's twice as strong as titanium. How the Samsung Galaxy S4 tempted me from the iPhone

The Samsung S4 and the iPhone 5 I'm fortunate to have several smartphones to choose from. For work reasons, I need to keep up with the Android, iOS, and Windows Phone platforms, as well as specific devices from particular makers. Usually, I take two with me when going out. But on the rare occasions that I take only one, it's the iPhone that's must-have. Must-have, that is, until the Samsung Galaxy S4 came along. I didn't expect to like the Galaxy S4, when the review unit from Samsung arrived a few weeks ago. I never took to the Galaxy S3 when I tried it last year. Believe me, I tried. Plenty of others seemed to love it. But the predictive text always seemed to suggest the wrong things, plus I found the unit was pretty hard to see in bright sunlight. These and other factors never pulled me to the phone, or away from the  iPhone 4S  or the  Galaxy Nexus  that I was regularly using then. It's been much different with the Galaxy S4. I love it. Below are some
