Shylock Trojan targets 24 banks

Two-dozen US and European banks have been targeted by the Shylock Trojan. Shylock avoids detection as it injects itself into legitimate processes. Twenty-four banks across Europe and the US have recently been targeted by Shylock – aka Capshaw – financial   malware  that has actively been going after bank accounts since 2011. The countries with the highest number of infections are the UK, Italy, Denmark and Turkey. Sachin Deodhar and Chris Mannon, researchers from Zscaler's ThreatLabZ, have  reported  this upswing in activity, but say they are currently unable to identify the initial infection vector. "We can tell that it is more than likely arriving as part of an exploit kit honing in on  vulnerable  versions of Java. The reason we suspect this is that the user-agent for every single transaction that has come through our Behavioral Analysis solution has been: Mozilla/4.0 (Windows XP 5.1) Java/1.6.0_07." $7.5 million Lamborghini model costs more than 17 Aventador supercars!

Shelling out for a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, or even a Bugatti suddenly seems to make a lot more sense. After all, those exotic cars are at least drivable! This 1:8 scale Lamborghini Aventador model is constructed out of diamonds, carbon-fiber, platinum, gold and a variety of precious stones. ROBERT GULPEN ENGINEERING The world's most expensive model car is expected to fetch a minimum of $7.5 million when it goes to auction later this month. For about $400,000, you could park a brand new Lamborghini Aventador in your garage or driveway. Or if you want to spend an extra $7 million, you could park this model of one in your den. RELATED: COULD THIS BE THE LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO’S SWANSONG? Built by Robert Gülpen Engineering, the model was recently presented at the Frankfurt Auto Show. According to the company’s website, Lamborghini was an easy choice because the automaker’s cars are “exclusive, sensual and challenging, and unmistakably Italian.” ROBERT GULPE...

Can BBM be relevant once more?

- Getty Images This weekend marks a new beginning for BlackBerry Messenger (popularly known as BBM) as it becomes available on iPhones and Android smartphones. With an addressable market of a billion users, BBM has the possibility of becoming much bigger than it could have ever been were it to be stuck with BlackBerry smartphones, sales of which have fallen so rapidly that the company is investigating “strategic options” (read going private or a sale). With just 60 million BBM users and increased competition from services like WhatsApp, WeChat, Line and others, can BBM still be relevant? A few things I hear regularly from existing BlackBerry users is how their BBM contacts have shifted to WhatsApp and how most of the conversations have moved on from BBM. Then there are also some users who keep a BlackBerry just because of BBM. “I cannot wait for BBM to come to Android. I want to move from BlackBerry but cannot do that right now,” a journalist friend who works for a newswir...

Gold iPhone Sells Out, Crushing Dreams Of Apple Fans Around The World

The gold rush was on Friday morning at Apple stores in the U.S. and Europe . Hungry iPhone buyers, some who had waited in line for days, attempted to get their hands on the gold-colored iPhone 5S, the latest version of Apple's flagship phone. Some of Apple's most devoted fans left the stores disappointed, as stores quickly ran out of the highly-coveted silver and gold versions of its phone. Apple's "space gray" model seemed to be more abundantly stocked. Joseph Cruz, 20, came out of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan with a sleeping bag in one hand, a chair over his shoulder and two new iPhones. He waited for 15 days and was second in line -- but still didn't manage to nab a gold phone. "I'm pretty bummed out, but you know, I still had a fun experience being here," he said, adding he felt bad that he couldn't get his mom a gold iPhone. "I can still always order it online." Not so fast. AT&T's onlin...

This incident was reported to have occurred at Inikpi street, High level ,Makurdi , Benue State. Later on, it was discovered that the fight erupted not because the girl snatched her friend's sugar daddy but because the victim insulted the other girl's mother calling her a prostitute. This led to this fiasco and avoidable assault on both feuding parties. Once again, passerby and witnesses took laws into their own hands by stripping the other girl n*ked and beating her silly without proper investigation. They slashes her friend's face with a razor blade just because of a minor    misunderstanding.

Pictures and videos have been doing the rounds on the web showcasing a beta version of BBM on handsets. The app is expected to have many of the features that are on BlackBerry devices. This includes the ability to send text and voice messages. Below is a demo from BlackBerryOS.com. What is BBM? BlackBerry Messenger or BBM as it is commonly known was one of the first mainstream instant-messaging serv...
