Man possessing fresh human parts in Lagos Arrested

A 23-year-old man, Kunle Olaide, has been arraigned before a Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos for having been caught with "assorted human parts and some bottles of human blood".
A'sB had reported in February, 2013 that Olaide and one Prophet Niyi Salako were accosted by policemen at the Ikotun area of Lagos state where fresh human parts and two plastic bottles filled with human blood were recovered from them.
Olaide was arrested immediately, while the prophet of a white garment church took to his heels and still at large.
The matter was thereafter referred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.
Despite the absence of Salako, he was arraigned in absentia with Olaide, on a two count of unlawful possession of human parts.
The charge sheet read in part, "That you, Kunle Olaide and Niyi Salako, now at large, on or about the 15th of February, 2013, at Ikotun, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire with each other to commit felony, to wit; unlawful possession of human parts and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011″
