The driver told Dadson that he had heard rumours of a fetish priest at Weija, near Accra, who engaged in such acts. DCOP Yohuno said last month, Dadson called to inform the driver that he could provide two human heads and he needed a prospective buyer. The driver, alarmed, informed his pastor who advised him to report the matter to the police.
The driver did contact the police, and a policeman feigning interest in buying the girl, gave a phone number to Dadson for further communication. Dadson called the supposed buyer and offered to sell his girlfriend to him again for GH₵8, 000. Dadson demanded GH₵ 100 for transportation, which amount was wired to him through mobile transfer.
Last Wednesday, Dadson arrived with his girlfriend at the ‘VIP’ bus terminal in Accra, at about 8pm, and was arrested when he made contact with the policeman. Upon interrogation, Dadson admitted the offence and offered to lead the police to a place in Kumasi, where human heads were sold.
