Smartphone manufacturers Samsung and BlackBerry have teamed up to announce a new marketing partnership across Africa. As part of the arrangement, Samsung has said that it will include the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for Android app in its curated app store for Galaxy handsets, alongside its own ChatOn service. BBM will form part of the Samsung Messaging Hub that comes preinstalled on all of the South Korean firm's Android smartphones. The BBM for Android app is still in a closed beta testing stage, but BlackBerry says that it will be available in the Samsung Apps store on launch day. "We believe that BBM has the potential to become the number one messaging client around the globe," BlackBerry's managing director for South and Southern Africa, Alexandra Zagury, told ZDNet, "and Samsung is the leading Android manufacturer in Africa. Apparently the wait is about to end, at least for owners of Samsung Galaxy phones. A new report from the folks at N4BB claims that Samsung has officially committed to the messaging app. Specifically, BBM addicts will be able to download BlackBerry Messenger software via the Google Play store "soon." With BBM, Galaxy users will have access to their BBM accounts, including BBM chats and BBM Groups. It also appears that BBM functionality will be integrated in Samsung devices through a Samsung messaging hub. Whether this means Sammy customers will be treated to a UI similar to the BlackBerry Hub, basically a unified inbox on steroids, remains to be seen. Frankly it's one the best feature

A 22-Year Old student has been arrested by the police for allegedly offering his 21-year-old girlfriend for sale at GH₵8, 000 for ‘’money ritual". Samuel Dadson, a resident of Kumasi, was said to have lured his girlfriend to Accra for a business transaction, but was arrested by the police who were waiting for him at VIP bus terminal. During the BlackBerry Q1 2014 conference call , BlackBerry CEO, Thorsten Heins let it be known a new BlackBerry 7 device would be released soon. Before that, there was plenty of rumors one was coming but that sealed the deal for it. At this point, there's no official branding for the device that we're aware of but there is plenty of references in recent builds of BlackBerry Desktop Manager that suggest it will be a 'Curve' series device. The Edo State Police Command, yesterday, paraded a 'gay' Nigerian pastor identified as Philips Ogbebor, who allegedly had carnal knowledge of a 20-year-old male member of his church (names withheld). Bolt and Maria were the weakest link this week, they are out of The Chase and heading home. Bolt followed shortly after his lady love Betty, who was Evicted in Week 4 while Maria didn't even know she was replaced and up for Eviction.
