Kukere master, Iyanya and his manager cum business partner Ubi Franklin both visited the ailing musician OJB Jezreel this evening at his Gbaja residence in surulere and donated N1million to him. OJB was the first man to believe in Iyanya after he won the MTN Project fame Season that launched him into the music world. He produced the first track on Iyanya’s ‘ Gbadun You’ album back in 2008. We learnt that Iyanya and Ubi arrived from the United Kingdom this evening and headed straight to OJB’s residence to make the donation. God bless Iyanya and Ubi.

Contest organizers in Brazil have pronounced 65-year-old grandmother, Irenilda de Oliveira Meneses as Brazil's most beautiful elderly woman. The pageantry was open to women who are above age 60. Out of 200 contestants, and being one of the 25 finalists selected to compete in the beauty pageant in Sao Paulo, the gorgeous grandmother has emerged queen. Meneses, a mother of two, has this to say about winning the pageantry, "To win is very exciting, very exciting. I'm so moved, I'm speechless, very speechless". The women were judged on their physical appearance, smile, personality, elegance and more. The entire essence of events as this, as summed up by contest organizer, Anilton Guedes, is that these elderly women feel like they are participating in life. Justice Peter Kekemeke of an Abuja High Court has ordered the arrest of the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Lamorde and an operative of the anti-graft agency, Friday Ebelo for disobeying a valid court order. Justice Kekemeke directed the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar to arrest and detain them within the next two weeks except they apologize to a lawyer whose fundamental human rights were allegedly violated by the commission. Reacting to the order, spokesman of the commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, who acknowledged that a copy of the order was served on the agency, said EFCC has perfected plans to get it vacated. The court had on March 8 and December 5, 2012, ordered Lamorde to release the call-to-bar certificate of one Mr Innocent Onwu, apologize to him through a national newspaper as well as pay him N50, 000 as compensation. Daniel The Peoples Democratic Party in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun  State  has suspended  former Governor Gbenga Daniel for alleged romance with the Labour Party in the state. Twelve other members of the PDP in the area – Idowu Osho,   Gbenga Sadiku,   Yetunde Majolagbe,  Mabawonju Shitta,  Ayantola Lawal,   Raufu Jinad, . Rotimi, who gave birth last Tuesday, was initially accused of attempting to flush her baby boy down the septic tank.
